Verilux CleanWave VH03WW4 UV-C Sanitizing Travel Wand Review

I actually got this wand free with a combo kit including the bigger Verilux wand. The other one works great, but this one even isn't worth it for free. I'm assuming it sterilizes O.K. but seems much dimmer than its big brother, but here is the problem, it will fully discharge a set of batteries in just a few days. I installed a NEW set of alkaline AA batteries and used this device for maybe 10 minutes total. I set it aside and in three days picked it up and the battery was almost completely dead. I thought maybe I left it on by mistake so installed 4 new batteries and again it was completely dead in 3 days.
If you buy this prepare to remove the batteries after EVERY time you use it. If you have a choice, don't buy this. Ge the bigger one, or another brand, but not this one. You will be sorry.

I had a persistent cough for months. Say the doctor, chest x-ray, antibiotics, the full medical press. On a whim I bought the cleanwave. Spent some time going over bedding, pillows, carpet, telephone, remote control; if I could wand it I did. Result: woke up and no cough. Did some additional wandering in bathrooms, kitchen, furniture. Something is going on that is good. I am sleeping better and still not coughing. I'm keeping this product.

Germ Guardian LW18 UV-C Light Wand Review

Germ Guardian LW18 UV-C Light Wand
Average Reviews:

The first one we bought wasn't working correctly. We returned it and Amazon fed-exed another one. Thank you Amazon! Germ Guardian wasn't helpful at all. I called their help center to check if we were using it right and the return policy, and never got a call back, which was very odd. They don't have live people answering the phone, you just leave a message.
We got this for the mattress because we think there may be some mold in there. My boyfriend still has his cough, but that's probably because it's cold. So I can't say if it's effective or not.
If you are going to buy this, make sure you can buy it from a place that is very easy to exchange and return, seeing as our first one didn't work.

VIOlight Dental Spa Review

When I first opened the package and started to use this product it was very very loud. Even trying to wrap a towel around it to block out the noise wouldn't work. Upon further inspection we had a small amount of water in the unit which was causing the noise. Now that it is dry it works just fine. Great product and it does work!!! My tooth guard had junk removed from it that the human eye couldn't see. When I opened the lid you were able to see all these specks removed. GREAT PRODUCT

I bought this because of the clever design. It worked for about a week. I called the manufacturer, and they said replacement bulbs were $15 plus $7 shipping. Apparently the bulb is custom made for this product, and you can't get it anywhere else.
Great idea, but at $22 a week the entire family can use a brand new toothbrush every day!

UVC Light Toothbrush Sanitizer Review

UVC Light Toothbrush Sanitizer
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I purchased this UV toothbrush sanitizer because it had yet to garner a "it quit working" review. Well, mine still works some few months later, but like all the rest, its performance is spotty, at best. First, these do burn through AAA batteries. You will want to consider buying some rechargables. Second, after the first month, the light "usually" comes on after you close the case. Sometimes, it comes on when you set it back down. Sometimes it comes on if you gently tap the case. Or if you open and close it again. Or not at all. You get the picture. It works 90% of the time, who knows why or why not. Since both expensive and inexpensive units tend to have these same problems, according to reviews, this unit is a better buy than most because it is inexpensive.
