I feel like I need to edit this review so some are not misled. I think this toothbrush is really for people who have early stage to moderate periodonitis (perio). It has short stiff bristles that clean the surface of your teeth and fine longer bristles that clean between your teeth. The toothbrush is very soft and the longer fine bristles do a great job of cleaning between your teeth. If you have periodonitis, cleaning between your teeth is the most important because floss does not do the job. I have heard some complain that this toothbrush hurts their gums. My hygenist has healthy gums and complains this toothbrush hurts her gums. If you have perio, I don't think this brush will make your gums sore. People with healthy gums that are up on and between the tooth like they should be are going to feel the bristles of this toothbrush poke them. It is the bristles that are trying to work between your teeth, but if you do not have perio, you may not need it, but you may really like it. I was pleasantly surprised by how well this toothbrush works for me. I have been using it for almost two (Now probably 4 years) years now and I have early stage perio. I had a deep cleaning done two years ago and have been able to maintain the positive results of that work with the help of this toothbrush. I also have recession, I found this brush, for this perio patient, to be gentle. You do not need to apply much pressure at all with this brush. So with this clarification, this is an excellent manual toothbrush. I highly reccomend anyone try it if you have periodontitis. The next best would be an electric toothbrush, you know the ones in your dentist office that cost a small fortune? I don't have the money for that so for now I will stick with the Nimbus.

(More customer reviews)I never thought I would write a review raving about how great a new toothbrush was. I never thought in my lifetime I would ever see a meaningful innovation in toothbrushes...I used to laugh at the idea of someone actually spending their day trying to improve a toothbrush.
But then...it happened. The Colgate 360.
I got the medium one, and the cheek cleaner works kinda gently and is pretty minor, but thats not what I am excited about. The design with the two smaller inner circle brushes reminds me of what you see plastered outside your car window when you go through a car wash. It seems somehow that they brush counter to the outer brushes, and it gives the feeling of one of the auto-rotating toothbrushes but somehow seems even better. It seems like it's actively polishing your teeth while at the same time penetrating all of the different gaps between them.
I can't really do this thing justice in my weak attempts to describe it...just try it and see.

(More customer reviews)Do not buy this toothbrush if you are looking for a soft or extra soft toothbrush. The bristle may be soft, but the bristle is packed in very tight tufts that bruise the gum. There is no way of brushing in any one direction to make the brushing gentler because the tufts point in different directions. Supposedly, tufts different directions can reach between teeth better. But people who want an extra soft toothbrush are more concerned with damage to gum than reaching between teeth. I do not understand how can Oral-B so blatantly mislabel this product. Didn't any of their engineers put that "Extra Soft" toothbrush in their mouth to see how abbrasive it is to gums?
Oral-B sold fairly effective extra soft toothbrushes in the past, such the 50K Advantage Glide toothbrush (see reviews of Advantage Glide on Amazon). Why not stay with a product that customers like? Oral-B new extra soft toothbrushes are smaller and/or harder: not the right way to improve.

I bought these toothbrushes because they were made of recycled plastic, and I feel enough guilt over the state of the planet as is, without having to stress over toothbrush purchases. What I did not expect, however, is that I would end up liking these brushes better than the ones I was using.
I was concerned when I saw the curved shape of the toothbrush, but within seconds of using the brush for the first time, I felt that the brush was easier to hold and use than the straight brushes I've used all my life. I was amazed at how quickly my fingers adapted to the new shape! The bristles are also wonderfully soft, perfect for my sensitive gums. Brushing is now less painful and more efficient, and it is easier to reach my back teeth with the curved handle.
All that and I feel slightly less guilty about my toothbrush. And I don't have to drive all the way to the store to pick these up! I couldn't be happier with these brushes.

(More customer reviews)I know, it may unusual to wax euphoric about a toothbrush, but this one is worth it. I've been using it for a month - so far I can't find anything wrong with it! It feels great, and my mouth actually does feel cleaner than with other toothbrushes.
First, the extra-soft bristles are great if you have sensitive teeth like I do - but even if you don't, many dentists say we should all use softer toothbrushes anyway. The bristles glide across your teeth comfortably, and don't cause discomfort on the gums (which has always been a problem for me). The shape of the bristles makes it easy to reach hard-to-reach places in the back of the mouth, and the bristles don't get harder over time, the way most have for me in the past.
The tongue/cheek cleaner on the back of the head is the real surprise - it's very effective, and so comfortable! It's not a rough scraper the way some are, and it doesn't just slide across your tongue ineffectively, either. It works great, it makes my mouth feel cleaner, and using it before going to bed (I've found) actually helps reduce morning breath the next day. There's also not as much of that yucky sticky feeling in the morning, either.
I'm kind of a picky person, so I usually find some little fault, here or there, in many things. I'm honestly surprised to see that I haven't found any faults in this toothbrush so far. A five-star rating may seem a bit superfluous sometimes - but this toothbrush has earned it.

(More customer reviews)I bought this toothbrush after doing extensive research on the best way to brush your teeth and the best type of toothbrush to use to prevent cavities. Experts say that it is best to use a soft-bristle toothbrush, and I decided to try this one since it is on the smaller side and easy to maneuver through my mouth.
I tried it this morning and absolutely love it! The bristles are so soft they didn't hurt my gums. The toothbrush head is small enough that I can easily brush the teeth at the far back of my mouth, and even brush the roof of my mouth as many experts recommend.
My mouth and teeth feel clean and refreshed, and my gums do not hurt from hard bristles!

You can longer find these in the stores and I am not sure why Colgate-Palmolive Company stopped making them. I wonder if the ADA (American Dental Association) had something to do with it.
