(More customer reviews)Do not buy this toothbrush if you are looking for a soft or extra soft toothbrush. The bristle may be soft, but the bristle is packed in very tight tufts that bruise the gum. There is no way of brushing in any one direction to make the brushing gentler because the tufts point in different directions. Supposedly, tufts different directions can reach between teeth better. But people who want an extra soft toothbrush are more concerned with damage to gum than reaching between teeth. I do not understand how can Oral-B so blatantly mislabel this product. Didn't any of their engineers put that "Extra Soft" toothbrush in their mouth to see how abbrasive it is to gums?
Oral-B sold fairly effective extra soft toothbrushes in the past, such the 50K Advantage Glide toothbrush (see reviews of Advantage Glide on Amazon). Why not stay with a product that customers like? Oral-B new extra soft toothbrushes are smaller and/or harder: not the right way to improve.
