Reach Full Head Toothbrush, Firm, Assorted Colors, 2-Count Packages (Pack of 6) Review

Reach Full Head Toothbrush, Firm, Assorted Colors, 2-Count Packages (Pack of 6)
Average Reviews:

The Reach design has always been the most practical and easy to use.The only question is soft, medium or firm?Soft is recomended by most dentists but i find the bristles do not get in between the teeth. The medium is better but not by much. The firm is best and acts almost like a floss if you use it right. Not for tender gums though nor for agressive scrubbing.A tough, carefully applied workman like toothbrush. And a real bargain for 12.

The Reach full head toothbrush features a cleaning tip, and blue outer bristles that highlight the bi-level bristle design. Longer, blue outer bristles remove bacterial plaque along the gumline while the shorter inner bristles clean plaque from tooth surfaces for an effective overall clean. The Reach toothbrush with its unique angled neck and tapered head is designed to clean the hard-to-reach places in the mouth. Features include: 1. Unique Power Tip helps clean behind front teeth and hard-to-reach back teeth. 2. Polished, end-rounded bristles help protect tooth enamel and gums. 3. Ultreo Replacement Ultrasound Brush Head Review

Ultreo Replacement Ultrasound Brush Head
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
In order for the brush to work as described in the literature you do have to replace the brush head every 3 to 4 months. The bristles become too soft and do not work as designed. The product is fantastic and I was very happy with it until I saw the replacement cost of Brush head. You were able to find it cheaper before the company went out of business. Yes you read correctly, no more product will be made, so what ever is for sale out there is all that is left on the market. The main reason this review is not 5-stars is the exorbitant price. But I still like the product and will use it until remaining supplies are sold out.

Click Here to see more reviews about: Ultreo Replacement Ultrasound Brush Head

How Ultreo Works Ultreo is the first power toothbrush to combine patented ultrasound waveguide technology with precisely tuned sonic bristle action. Ultreo's bristles create microbubbles that are powerfully activated by nearly 4 million cycles of ultrasound energy per brushing channeled by a patented ultrasound waveguide. What to Expect
The Ultreo brushing experience is unlike any other toothbrush. Here are some useful tips to help you become accustomed to the unique feel. We guarantee that after the initial adjustment period, your teeth will feel cleaner than ever before.
As ultrasound requires a fluid medium to perform effectively, try to keep as much fluid around the bristles as possible while you brush. Ultreo has been designed to work with a small "pea-sized" amount of toothpaste. Ultreo should be used with gentle pressure and a light touch.Keep the bristles, not the waveguide, in contact with the teeth and gumline while brushing. You may feel the waveguide touching your teeth at first. This is normal and most users report that the waveguide is not noticeable at all after the first few brushings.

Purchase an Ultreo ultrasound toothbrush and use it for 30 days. If your teeth don't feel cleaner than ever before, give us a call at 1.877.4.ULTREO and we'll refund your money. We believe in our ultrasound difference.

ProFloss Dental Waterjet Review

ProFloss Dental Waterjet
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I had a Waterpik, which costs over $50 and after a year using it, I can say that it's not convenience due to: it's bulky, need to fill up with warm water every time, and a power outlet is needed. I don't have space on the bathroom counter for it, so it must be stored away every time. It also very noisy when the electric pump is running. Due to these issues, I didn't use it often enough. I wanted to find something that I could easily connect to the faucet and floss my teeth anytime I want, without the hassle of carry the Waterpik boxes and fill it with warm water.
I decided to try the Profloss Waterjet, and love it. It is well built and installation is simple. The faucet aerator adapter is included. After used, just press a button on the aerator and release the tube and the hand held unit from the faucet.
Some buyers had negative review for this product based on their bad experience with the installation. I think their problem is due to their very old faucets, which do not have the modern standard 15/16" male or female thread for the aerator adaptor. Most houses today have kitchen and bathroom faucets with either male or female 15/16" thread, and this product has the dual (male/female) thread aerator included. If your faucet is the old style, here is the place to get the adaptor to convert it to the modern 15/16" thread:

No electricity required and no batteries to purchase or recharge. Plus ProFloss? Dental Waterjet is the only oral irrigator that takes up no countertop space because you "quick-connect" it to your faucet only when needed and there's no reservoir to fill so you're ready to use anytime by simply turning on the water.Regular use of ProFloss? Dental Waterjet will help improve your dental hygiene. ProFloss? Dental Waterjet's steady stream of water removes debris and plaque around braces, between teeth and below the gumline where traditional brushing and flossing can't reach.

WaterPik WP-60W Personal Dental Water Jet System Review

WaterPik WP-60W Personal Dental Water Jet System
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I've been using a Waterpik for several decades now, and while the effectiveness of the product -- excellent for oral irrigation and toughening the gums -- has been consistent, the design and quality of the product have faltered. My first Waterpik, purchased in the early 1970s for sensitive gums on the recommendation of my dentist, lasted far longer than my more recent purchases. Sometimes the motor gives out, and sometimes the hose gives out.
That said, no product lasts forever. But what really annoys me is the design of the current product. First of all, instead of two "picks," Waterpik now gives you one "pick" and a "tongue cleaner." And when you attempt to purchase replacement picks, you must buy them with the tongue cleaner as well. Furthermore, the design of the current model is too big and bulky, not neat and compact as it once was. And lastly, the only way you can close the Waterpik is by removing the pick every time; the top will not fit over the bottom otherwise.
Bottom line: It is still a good product, but it becomes increasingly inconvenient with each new iteration, and I think the market is ripe for the competition.
Update May 2008: This Waterpik finally went the way of all moving devices (the cable from the implement broke), and I purchased the newer "Ultra" model. Many of the inconveniences of the "Personal" model have been eliminated in the Ultra: The Ultra has a much smaller footprint, the jet is positioned better, and it has a top to cover the reservoir when not in use. Even though it is about 50% more in cost, it is worth it to me (despite the blue reservoir, which doesn't match any of my countertop accessories).

The WP 60 is ideal for those who don't like to floss, as well as for anyone who wants a deep clean that floss simply can't provide. Spacious Reservoir Has More to Offer The WP 60spacious reservoir holds enough water to accommodate up to 90 seconds of use, preventing the need for refills. Its reservoir also doubles as a hygienic storage cover for the tips and handle. You can even add your favorite mouthwash to the reservoir for a truly deep and fresh-feeling clean.

Colgate SpongeBob Extra Soft Kids Toothbrush (Pack of 6) Review

Colgate SpongeBob Extra Soft Kids Toothbrush (Pack of 6)
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
These Colgate toothbrushes are extra soft 14, and they are for children (or adults who love Spongebob!) ages 5 and up. I try to make brushing teeth as fun as it can be for my daughter, and these are definitely a hit in our house. I find it more convenient to order a multi-pack, such as this, because young kids tend to do some very odd things with toothbrushes and they are easier to replace than to try and sterilize. (Especially when they try to use them to scrub the toilet.)
Each toothbrush is individually packaged. I received 2 toothbrushes each in 3 different designs. There were two with Spongebob, two with Patrick Star, and two that featured several Spongebob characters together. I recommend also buying Colgate Anticavity Fluoride Toothpaste, SpongeBob Squarepants, 4.6-Ounce Tubes (Pack of 12) for a spongy good time!

Panasonic Oral Irrigator EW-DJ10-A
Average Reviews:

This is an item I can't live without. Even after flossing I'll get additional food out of my gums and in many cases this is the only device that can remove painful food jammed underneath my gums. The whole thing collapes for traveling, is the only unit I know of that has replaceable batteries, and with new batteries has a very powerful spray. It is also very easy to refill and I liked that the engineers designed the cap to snap on and off instead of breaking off. I bought one and liked it so much I'm buying one as a gift for other people.

Waterpik Waterflosser Cordless Rechargeable WP-360W Review

Waterpik Waterflosser Cordless Rechargeable WP-360W
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
What we got here is a bimodal distribution!
People either sing the praises of the "Water Jet," or wish to relegate it to the dung heap of poorly designed consumables. Who's right? While there's no one answer to that, here are some things you might want to consider:
Pros:
1. Portability. The unit is rechargeable, and doesn't use a cord, thus increasing its portability and ease of use. It's also much smaller and more discreet than the traditional water piks that work with a reservoir.
2. Professional recommendations. Dentists and dental hygienists recommend it, and it apparently does improve oral hygiene. It removes things that brushing often leaves behind.
3. Two types of heads. Here, two heads are better than one. Water pik varies the diameter of the flow-thru attachment to achieve either gentle or not-as-gentle pressure.
4. Price. Definitely a good deal, especially on sale, and compared to similar products.Cons:
1. The MOST frequent complaint here is that the unit eventaully won;t recharge, and that happened to me as well. However, this was not after 3 weeks or 3 months, but after about a year of use. That's annoying, but what's even more annoying is that the "water jet" doesn't HOLD a charge for very long. After just a few uses, you'll need to plug it in again.
ANother frequent complaint is that the internal reservoir is so small you have to fill it several times to clean your entire mouth. Again, this was my experience, but (again), it was not as bad as what some people have written. If I hurried, I could do it in one filling, but for a fairly thorough job, it does take two. Not terrible, as long as it keeps working (see paragraph above).
2. Professional recommendation. When this first came out, it had great appeal as a portable and easy-to-store device that cleaned--floss-like--in difficult areas around the gums. However, it's now apparent there are some longterm problems, especially with the batteries. Now, competition looms in the form of a similar (non-rechargeable) unit from Panasonic. If costs more, but if it produces similar results without the problems, I'm pretty sure dentists will recommend it as well (or instead).
3. Two heads. NOt a bad idea, although many people will find that they use only the higher pressure nozzle. However, if your gums are sensitive, you may want to work your way up from lower to higher. Basically, a good idea, especially since the price is so low.
4. Price. On sale for about $20, this is potentially a very cost efficient way to reduce your dental bills. However, one must balance that against the many reviewers who have registered complaints about the batteries, etc. The Panasonice is about 50% more expensive, and has the same small reservoir problem. However, if it proves more reliable, this will be the one to get. And that's my recommendation: Look at the competition (the Panasonic), and see what kind of reviews it gets. ALso, consider whether it would really be so bad (and, practically speaking, if you have the room) to have the traditional style water jet (whatever the brand) which plugs into the wall and has an external reservoir.

Easier and more effective than flossing with string, the Waterpik Cordless Water Flosser WP 360 powers away plaque and debris between teeth and below the gumline for a deep, thorough clean. Two custom tips deliver low- or high-pressure cleaning to meet your needs. And its rechargeable, battery-free design provides convenience and flexibility.
More Effective and Comfortable Than Floss Finally, there is an easier, more effective alternative to string floss: the Waterpik Cordless Water Flosser WP 360. The WP 360 is ideal for those who don't like to floss, as well as for anyone who wants a deep clean that floss simply can't provide. The WP 360 is clinically proven to be up to twice as effective as string floss at improving gum health.
Two Tips Clean in Specialized Ways For a customized clean, choose between the High-Pressure Classic Jet Tip or the Low-Pressure Classic Jet Tip. The High-Pressure Classic Jet Tip is best for general use. It cleans deep between teeth and below the gumline for healthier gums. The Low-Pressure Classic Jet Tip is ideal for gently cleaning sensitive areas of the gums.
Rechargeable Design Provides Flexibility The cordless, rechargeable design of the WP 360 lets you walk away from the charger for maximum mobility and convenience. Never worry about batteries running out. Simply recharge the unit between uses. In addition, the WP 360's improved shape takes up less space on the bathroom countertop.
The Waterpik Cordless Water Flosser WP 360 is backed by a one-year warranty.

I don't write about products, but I do rely on what people say about products and when I've seen allbad reviews for inerplak water jet I just could not belive it. I own this product for at least a year, this same one. It works great. In the begining it used to hold charge a bit longer. I could go for about a week on single charge now it is loosing a preasure on about 4th day, which I consider great for a year old 20$ oral jet.
Best 20$ I've ever spent! And belive me I am very keen about my teeth, I had my braces at 20yo - well I am from Poland and 12 years ago not everybody could aford it , and it was still prety new there. I am 32 now and I did not had my 8th teeth surgicaly removed, and they seatting rather deap in my gums. I usedd to be a nightmare for me , I would get infection once a month or more often. I've always had a strong pain reliever handy and I was possitive I will have to go for extraction. Then I decided to try oral jets,i wanted a portable one. First I got a panasonic , don't recall what model but it needed 2 batteries. Nightmare. To strong preasure at first than it was weakning very fast and the batteries where wunning out very fast. Never again. Than I had a portable waterpik - and the answer is NO! It was supposed to have a different preasures and different attachments , whatever. It sucked. Got rid of it and now my life got better with Interplak water jet. I did not have an infection since I am using it. I always brush my teeth first then use the jet. I use luke warm water not to irritate the gums. Every time I jet I can't belive my eyes what comes out my teeth after I brushed. Than I feel sory for people who did not discover irrigation. I am not planning to have another infection nor cavity anytime soon. If I go away and forget my charger I just simply go to store and spend another 20$ and get another interplak.
I guess oral hygine is a very personal experience andsometimes you have to try couple jets before you get your fav one. Mine is Interplak!

Average Reviews:

I ordered these because in our house everyone seems to like different firmness for the toothbrushes used. These arrived today and are "all in one" so that all six of the toothbrushes we received are billed as being just like a "firm, medium or soft" when in fact each toothbrush head is exactly the same and seems to have one row if each type of bristle. VERY VERY ANNOYING. I do not recommend this product.
For the record, yes, I opened and used one before I wrote this and I am very disappointed. I am the one in the family that uses "soft" bristle brushes and this felt just like a brand new soft bristle brush. My husband, who likes firm bristles, will not like these. I will end up donating them.

I never floss. I have used these exclusively for the last year or so and my dental hygienist is amazed that I don't floss. Says she would swear that I floss at least twice daily and my gums are in great shape!
BTW, this review applies to the 'original' brush picks--not the 'new and improved' picks that have more and tapered bristles. The new picks are too soft and I find the bristles end up laying flat rather quickly. The original picks have 3 little bristles on each side. These seem to hold up better. I love them!

This product is excellent. I have had one for a few years and this purchase was for my family. Fantastic value for the money ($100bucks). Love the 2minute timer, with 30 second intervals. This toothbrush is like "Brushing for Dummies". Turn it on, put it in your mouth, it tells you when to change sides etc. and then it turns off. Lasts for 2 weeks on a charge so perfect for vacations. Comes with an extra brush head each so the product is good for a year before needing replacements. Would suggest getting the sonic seal, (cheaper from the actual website) which my son calls a toothbrush condom, to go with it.
