Oral-B Advantage Plus Compact Head, Soft Toothbrush 1 ea Review

Oral-B Advantage Plus Compact Head, Soft Toothbrush 1 ea

I received from my dentist an Oral-B Advantage Plus Compact 35 toothbrush. In dark blue (and white). I used it once and it was such an awesome brush that it left me stooped at the sink, openmouthed, foam dripping down my chin (and now on the keyboard). It feels like a) the most extensivesly well-cleaning brush I've used: its compact head fit everywhere and reached everything, and b) the most comfortable brush I've used: it has these goofy-feeling rubber ridges so my fingers and thumb were comfortably situated. And have I mentioned the sleek dark blue (and white) color?
I didn't have to pay for it, technically, since I got it for "free" from the dentist in exchange for forty minutes of heinous torture. So I don't know if this price is a good deal or not (probably not; it is much, much more inexpensive in bulk, by the way). All's I can say is, head on over to your nearest new or used toothbrush dealer and get yourself an Oral-B Advantage Plus, in dark blue (and white).

Reach Advanced Design Toothbrush, Firm, Full Head -Value Pack of 3 Review

Reach Advanced Design Toothbrush, Firm, Full Head -Value Pack of 3

These are incredible toothbrushes! I cannot find a 'firm' toothbrush in any store! Why did some 'king pin' decide we can only purchase soft or medium (which are really mis-labeled & should also be labeled soft) toothbrushes??
I finally decided to check Amazon.com and EUREKA, there were the Reach Firm, Full Head toothbrushes!
In my opinion they are firm enough to do a great job, but do not hurt or irritate my gums, OR my husband's (and his are very tender).
These brushes truly have 'firm' bristles and I love them. I am wondering about purchasing a lifetime supply in case 'Reach' does, for some odd reason, decide to stop manufacturing them!!
Well, I won't go that far, but I AM buying another package or two today!
I only bought one pack of 3 last time because I could not believe there was actually a 'firm' bristle still being produced...there IS!

Philips Sonicare E-Series Replacement Brush Head Review

Philips Sonicare E-Series Replacement Brush Head
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
My best friend has been raving about his Sonicare Elite for over a year now-- encouraging me to try it. I did a little research and saw that OralB had a similar product and wondered which had a better product-- Sonicare or Oral B. My friend finally convinced me that the Sonicare product is superior, and then I read a review on Amazon from a hygenist who said that she went to a continuing education seminar and learned that Oral B was found to be superior...
At that point, I decided to do some research. I found a Northwestern University study conducted over a 6 month period. Patients with the Sonicare did much better, but don't take my word for it. Read the study results for yourself on the National Institute of Health web site:
[...]
"Overall, this study demonstrates that long-term use of these two electric toothbrushes improves periodontal health in adult periodontitis patients, and that the Sonicare brush is superior to the Braun [Oral B] brush in reducing gingival inflammation and probing depth. Moreover, 6 months' use of Sonicare led to actual improvement in probing attachment levels of periodontal pockets."
