Crest Pro Whitening SpinBrush Toothbrush, 1 ea - PARENT Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I have bought two of these brushes. I love the way they work, but they break too quickly. Neither one of them has lasted longer than three months (the package says to replace the heads every three to four months...think about it) The first one was great for a while, but water got into the battery compartment and caused the batteries to leak.
I blamed it on myself and went out to buy a new one. I was extra careful not to get the bottom wet, which is interesting to do considering it is a product that is made to be used around water. Not to be disgusting, but how do you rinse off your saliva without getting it wet??? This second one lasted a little bit longer than the first one, but now I have an interesting problem where I cannot get the battery compartment to fit back inside the brush! Even with the batteries not inside it, the compartment will not snap all the way in. If it's not closed, it won't run, and water would be able to get inside anyway.
The following are points to consider, on their own they would not bother me but I'll mention them anyway:
-The battery compartment, when working, is a little difficult to get open.
-On the first brush I had no problem getting the power switch to slide up with wet hands, but on the second brush the switch went considerably harder and I need to put my hand inside a towel to turn the brush on.
-As far as it's whitening properties, I don't know if it does that, I've never paid attention. It does keep my teeth clean though.
On the other hand, my boyfriend bought his at the same time that I bought my first one, and his is still going strong. He doesn't treat his in any special way, so it looks like it's just a roll of the dice as to whether or not you get a good brush. I'm not taking that chance any more, the next brush will be a different brand. I'd rather buy a more expensive brush that lasts a long time than a cheap one that I have to replace every 3 months.

Crest SpinBrush Multi-Angle, Medium Bristles, 1 Count (Colors May Vary) Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I bought one of these after my second Sonic Care died within a year. The toothbrush does not clean quite as well as a Sonic Care but it is much better than a manual toothbrush. You don't need to spend the kind of money they are offering them for here however. Found mine at a "big box" for a lot less money. You might also want to consider an Oral B sonic for about $24 at a big box.

Crest SpinBrush Multi-Angle, Extra Soft Bristles (Colors May Vary) Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)Just the top part vibrates; the bottom part of the brush does nothing. Also it just vibrates not rotate or spin. I feel like it does nothing more then give a nice hand massage. It is just like a normal toothbrush, but heavier and eats battery. Not worth even this cheap price.

Crest spinbrush pro whitening toothbrush replacement heads, medium - 2 refill heads Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)Although the item listed said Medium, what was sent to me was Ultra Soft. When I called the actual vendor, they said they were out of the Medium, and sent me what they had, thinking that would satisfy me. I also complained to Amazon and the vendor subsequently refunded my Credit Card. I was able to find and purchase the Medium item elsewhere.

Crest Spin Brush Combo Pack: 2 Spinbrush Pro Clean Battery Powered Toothbrushes & 2 Replacement Heads (Colors may vary) Review

(More customer reviews)The picture for this item is misleading because it features 4 additional spinbrushes in the package. (Total of 6) This is not what you are advertising to buy for the price. The actual picture should be 2 toothbrushes & 2 spinheads.

Our unique, patented Dual-Action Technology is turning the brushing world on its head! The circular Oscillating Head spins around and back to thoroughly clean and polish even between teeth. The secondary bristles move side-to-side to scour away plaque and massage along the gumline. Spinbrush Classic Clean Battery Powered Toothbrush Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)My hygienist used to ask me if I flossed regularly and I'd say yes -- every six months right before I came in. That was ten years ago when I bought my first spin brush. My hygienist now has said "I don't know what you're doing, but make sure you keep doing it". My first spin brush took ten years to break and I just replaced it with another one. The secret to low plaque levels, I believe is the actual spin brush attachment itself. If you buy this product, the first thing you should do when you get it is to throw away the brush that comes with it. Or, do as I do and use it for cleaning jewelry or grout. Go to your favorite grocery store and buy new refills, BUT, make sure they are "dual action". My refills all seem to have the Arm and Hammer brand on them and it's hard to find the words "dual action" but it's on the back of the package about a third the way down. What this means is 1) the round part spins as expected, and 2) the lower part moves forward and back at high speed. This movement allows the lower brush bristles to work their way in between the teeth, the same way floss does, ergo the statement from my hygienist. You might want to take the included brush with you to make sure you get the right dual action one as they look almost alike. And, yes, I agree that the battery compartment lid is hard to get off and the on/off switch gets slippery when wet, which is why 4 stars instead of 5. But oh how nice it is to have really clean teeth. Remember, if you don't get the dual action brushes you're wasting your money.

Spinbrush Pro Recharge Battery Powered Toothbrush Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)This is a great convenience. The brush works well and automatically recharges each day when you return it to the base. My wife and I both have arthritis and this is very lightweight so it is easy to brush longer. Plus being rechargeable it will save on batteries over the battery model so the difference is worth it. No doubt it has a fixed number of charge cycles so eventually it will go bad but for the cost it should be reasonable. Highly recommended.

Crest Spinbrush Classic Replacement Brush Heads, Refill, 2 Each (Colors May Vary) (Pack of 4) Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)Just wanted to point out that these 'classic' heads are different than the newer 'pro' heads that have both brush areas moving. The classic heads only have the round bristle part rotating and the other bristle part is stationary. Seems like a minor difference but once you're used to the pro heads you never want to go back. I guess that's why they're cheap.. ;) other than that, these are fine.

Orawave Pink Ribbon 2 Minute TwinSpin Toothbrush (Colors May Vary) Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)Five Stars for the Orawave; I love the timer: one less thing I have to wonder about. But the main reason for buying a nine dollar brush with replaceable batteries, as opposed to a five dollar brush with non-replaceable batteries, is to avoid dumping more plastic into landfills, is it not? Or am I clueless? The description states that replacement heads are available: Dear Amazon, where are they?

SpinBrush Pro Clean Sonic Rechargeable Toothbrush 1 ea Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)My periodontist challenged me to improve my gums in a month. I had 6mm and 7mm deep pockets, and I had to improve my dental regime. I purchased the Spinbrush Pro Clean Sonic Recharge. After one month of use I am happy to report that my Periodontist Ira could no longer find any pockets in my gums, and that the improvement was remarkable. I had been anxiously waiting for Ira's report to write this review, even though I suspected that the results would be very good.
So right off the bat, let's just say the Spinbrush Pro Clean Sonic Recharge, along with a new rechargeable Waterpik Waterflosser Cordless Rechargeable WP-360W, have saved my gums and teeth, and a lot of money on Periodontist bills (I have 4 implants already). Not only is this rechargeable Spinbrush Pro Sonic inexpensive, with very reasonable replacement brush head prices, but it's also fun to use. It's shaped more like a manual toothbrush, so the head is much bigger than Sonicare. The first few seconds I use it like a manual toothbrush, turned off, spreading the toothpaste around. Then I turn it on, and it's "off to the races". Those little brushes micro-sweep with great gusto. It even has a special edge that is used to massage the gums. It has four lights that mark the time every 30 seconds up to 2 minutes, when the unit turns off; the 30 second pulses are had to notice.
I don't use much the quadrant brushing method Spinbrush suggests, but I do use the LED lights for timing. the 4 led lights go on while it is charging; it is well made and sturdy, though light. You will feel that you brushed your teeth and gums very well after using it.
This unit has a strong "micro-sweep" action; the brush, handle and charger are very easy to clean. The base charger is like a donut, so it doesn't collect all the gunk like the older brands. The color and design are very attractive; the handle is ergonomic; they warn that the batteries don't last forever, and are recyclable so I'll have to buy another one in a year or so no big deal-> Highly recommended!
