It does the work for you, vibrating thousands of times a second, massaging your gums, it lets you clean your teeth without scraping your gums with a toothbrush, which can cause them to recede and bleed, and it reaches between your teeth to catch plaque and germs. This is a wonderful toothbrush, and I recommend it. However, if you want a review of a toothbrush, you'll read the toothbrush page. This is a page for replacement heads.
There's a lot of confusion about replacement heads for Oral B electric toothbrushes on Amazon, and I just want to give you all some facts. There are only three kinds of heads for ALL Oral-B electric toothbrushes. Flexisoft EB17, Extrasoft EB17, and Ortho OD17. I prefer Flexisoft EB17. (The Extrasoft is a little too soft, and the Ortho is overpriced for very little extra benefit.) I'd recommend the Flexisoft heads over this one, and they're less than half the price.

Oral B Precision Clean 3 pack brush head refill Review

(More customer reviews)I'm an Oral B user of many years, have always bought replacement brushes at the local drugstore, and was completely satisfied. I purchased this 3-pack of replacement heads and had one come apart in my mouth after a few weeks of normal use. The metal pin at the end of the head came completely out and the rotating head came off. Both head and metal pin were loose in my mouth, an obvious swallowing hazard. The packaging displayed here does not look like my packaging, which is very plain saying only "Oral B Precision Clean", and the brush just feels cheap.
I cannot prove this brush to be a counterfeit yet, but I am contacting Oral B.
Update: Contact Oral B by telephone. Item I received is counterfeit and Oral B requested I return it to them. If your item's packaging does not look identical to the customer supplied images, I would not use the replacement head.

They were not for the brush I boubht so I returned them for a full refund which I received. Return policy is excellent. But I still can not find replacement brushes for my new DP16 Direct Plug-in Interplak Power Brush. If and when I can find replacement brushes I will write an updated review on the brush itself.

The reason I mention this is that the prices are all over the board for what is the same product. Make sure you find the best deal, because they're all the exact same product, listed multiple times! The number after the dash (for example EB17-3) just means how many toothbrush heads you'll be receiving. You can easily find the best deal by taking a look at all the products offered on Amazon, and dividing the cost by the number of heads.

Braun EB17 toothbrush brush heads 4 PACK. Review

(More customer reviews)While a good value for the quantity of brush heads in the package, the quality of this product suffers. I used this brush head on my Oral-B Vitality toothbrush, which is advertised to use all Oral-B flexi-soft heads. I have 3 really big issues with this product when compared to the standard retail version available in stores as well as here on Amazon
Issue #1: When the toothbrush is on it buzzes significantly louder than the other toothbrush head replacements. Now I know that this sounds like a relatively small concern, but it is a great deal louder. I was worried that my children in the next room were going to wake up, it was so loud.
Issue #2: The toothbrush head does not fit correctly on the brush base. One was too loose and slipped off, and the 2nd one was an extremely tight fit and would not come off when it was time to change the head, I had to use a pair of vice grips to remove the offending toothbrush head.
Issue #3: As of right now I have gone through 2 heads in the 3 weeks that I have had the product. For some reason something on the inside of the brush head gets disconnected after vigorous use and the head completely stops spinning... my toothbrush still works, the engine runs, but the bristles don't rotate... so I put on a new head... 1 week later, same problem.
Avoid this product. The few bucks you save on packaging is not worth it if I am done with all 4 heads in the course of 2 months. Stick to the tall vertical packages that they sell in the store and are also available here on amazon.

(More customer reviews)Each of these replacement brushes lasts approximately 3 to 4 weeks before the head of the brush detaches from the stem...they have to be fake as the real Braun replacement brush heads last much, much longer. I bought these because they seemed to be the best price for said item. Next time, I'll chose another supplier. And, no, I didn't contact the seller as I want nothing to do with said company.

They arrived promptly, which is good because I really, really needed to brush my teeth! I could not find a better price locally or on line. Of course, only time will tell if they last as long.
