(More customer reviews)I hate flossing. Hey, we all hate flossing, don't we? But I REALLY hate flossing. I hate wrapping the floss around my finger to get a grip, I abhor reaching to the back of my mouth to get the back teeth, I despise the clicking sound of the floss as it pops out from between the enamel. And then there's all the problems with the gums, and the dentist recriminations of not flossing enough or properly or blah blah blah. I've been through all kinds of floss: starting with the dollar variety that is more wax than fiber so it feels like I'm flossing with a candle; the thick batch that makes it near-impossible to fit between my teeth and that is so coarse, it's as if i'm trying to fell a toothy forest. And the ticker the floss, the more it digs into my fingers and the less likely it will fit comfortably into the toothy crevices.
But THIS stuff, this Crest Glide Deep Clean Floss, is astounding! From the first moment I opened the top, when the floss near-floated out on a soft tendril of air, as if an ephemeral elven lock of hair (you know that's what hobbits and wizards use, right?) weaving it's way to my mouth, I knew this was the floss for me. Soft, it is: minty, wraith-thin. Did I mention soft? How many flosses can you say are SOFT?! This one is. And strong, too. Like Teflon plumbing tape, only minty, and dental.
Every time I use it, I tear up a little at it's absolute beauty and perfection: a Lamborghini of dental floss with the class of a Rolls Royce. But I steel myself and get to business. It seems a shame to actually use this little strand of heaven, but it is for teeth, and for teeth it shall be used. From the moment I slip it between the tooths and begin working, the squeaks of clean minty goodness sound out: an angel's chorus of plaque and gunk destruction. How many angels can dance on the top of a tooth? I don't know, but if they are dancing, they're using Crest Glide Deep Clean Floss as Olympic-caliber Ribbon Dancing! Add some pop-rocks, and I'd have an angelic disco in my mouth.
I cannot recommend this floss more highly. I expect that this floss will be put on the short list for canonization and soon people all over the world will be praying to Crest Glide Deep Clean Floss, Patron Saint of Good Dental Hygiene and Flossing the night before their checkups.

Plackers Kids 1st Flossers 48 ea Review

(More customer reviews)I was told I needed to start flossing my son's teeth by my son's dentist. I bought another brand of flosser at the local Target (the only kids' one they sold). It was horrible. I have used the adult version of this flosser for years. I was surprised when I went to the local Dollar Tree (Dollar Store) and they had this product. I don't have to fight to floss my son's teeth anymore. The floss is thin enough to fit between his tight teeth (the other flosser did not fit between his back teeth). The floss is taught enough (the other brand had too much play in the string so you could stab yourself in the gums). After two days of flossing my son's teeth with this flosser - he is flossing his own teeth!!!! Since the dollar tree is the only local store that sells this product, I'm going to have to go back and buy more - $1 is much cheaper than the price here online.
Editing the review to give this tip I figured out. I could no longer find this at the dollar store or at any local store. I went to CVS and found the CVS brand of these flossers. They looked exactly the same. I bought a package and brought them home. They are made under the same US Patent as the Placker's brand. They look the same except they don't have the purple ones. I've used them and they are the same. I noticed that the adult Placker's are also made under the same US patent as the CVS brand.

Well, if you're like me and your teeth are packed pretty tightly together, flossing usually means wrapping floss tightly around your fingers, pressing hard up between your tight teeth in a sawing motion, and finally having that little thread pop through and whip your gums.
The hummingbird saves your fingers from strangulation, and the vibration makes the floss slip right through even the tightest spaces.
I was skeptical about vibrating razors too, and now hate shaving without one.

Dentek Fun Flossers 48's With Fluoride Review

(More customer reviews)I'd purchased these from the Dentek site, specifically to utilize the free shipping w/$15 purchase. That translates into about 6 bags of these flossers. I'd found them extrememly difficult to use w/my 6 yr. old daughter so I'd tried them myself. Although the bag says they are 'coated w/flouride' nowhere does it state they are coated w/wax. These are like flossing w/some roughspun twine you might keep in your shed. You start pushing, too hard, and the 'flexible' plastic starts to really flex. Then if you do push through, you damage your gums. So we tried 'sawing' the floss through the teeth. This helps prevent the damage to the gums by forcing through, but it is much more time consuming and still very difficult. My daughter only has a total of eight areas touching to floss, yet she cannot even use these unassisted. (She has used an adult version, different brand, with no issues) As I am trying to make oral hygiene a positive experience my child will continue for a lifetime, I wouldn't recommend using these flossers, EVER. And, now with six bags, I am trying to figure an alternative use for these, as I wouldn't even want to give these away.
