I have 4 children and one grandson, so I have had plenty experience with buying toothbrushes. I found this one gets to the hard to reach places and it also holds the toothpaste in place. In other toothbrushes we've tried the paste would slip down into the brush and washout when rinsed. Thats a waste and doesnot serve the purpose for it intent. When he sprouted teeth a bit early at 5 months, I was surprised and tried to practice what I preached to my patients about their children's teeth. Easier said than done! Then I read about these wipes in Parents magazine and immediately ordered some. As a dentist and most importantly a parent, I would highly recommend tooth tissues. Getting yourself and your child into the habit of cleaning before bedtime is very important, even at this stage. The xylitol is proven to help fight decay, and I recommend sugar free gum with this ingredient to my adult patients. Now that I'm using these wipes, I also recommend tooth tissues for their children as well. Can't say enough great things, wish I would have thought of it myself!

I like the small head which I think gets lost on most toothbrush designs. Yet I'm sure that is just a personal preference that I have projected onto my kids. I also like the suction cup holder that keeps the toothbrush standing upright on our vanity. However, I did not give this product 5 stars only because I am now in search of the "replacement heads" and can't seem to find the G U M brand replacements or equivalents. I just bought a 5 pack of Target brand heads that I was positve would work, nope. Luckily my older two use the braun electric and they can be used on those. So one star off for now and maybe, if I can't find the heads, I'll have to knock this product down to three or two. Nothing I hate more than having to throw away and then replace these kinds of items just because you can't replace the replaceable parts!

(More customer reviews)It is silicone teether that is shaped as a toothbrush. My baby 1 year old and had it for few months. She is chewing on handles, toothbrush part and the other side. It is not her favorite teether, but she uses it occasionally. I gave it 3 stars because the product is misrepresented. It does not develop good hygiene, and it is not training toothbrush. Infants will not learn to manipulate it in their mouth, they will chew on it. Nor does it massage gums any better than anything else babies put in their mouth. It is regular teether, just overpriced. Whoever buys it still needs to wipe their baby teeth after meals and brush it before bedtime with finger toothbrush. The teether does nothing to clean baby teeth or to train the baby in tooth brushing.
