(More customer reviews)This toothbrush was given to me by my periodontist to brush at the gum line. I've had gum grafts because I'm an "aggressive" brusher and have caused gum recession. It's painful oral surgery and I suggest everyone learn from me and not brush too hard! After regular brushing, this brush is good to get the plaque near the gums without damaging them.

(More customer reviews)I have tried many others, but have yet to find a manual toothbrush that cleans this well. A light brushing (you should always brush lightly) is all that is required for my teeth to feel thoroughly clean. I've even tried power brushes and went right back to this one. Bristles last a long time and continue to do a great job even when rather old. Complaining about the handle size is ridiculous.
