(More customer reviews)Oral B Toddler Toothpaste is the only toothpaste I use on my kids until they are about six years old. My daughter is 5 and still uses it. She loves all the flavors and it's great, because it's fluoride-free and it is safe to swallow.
I remember when I was a kid, I used to try to spit, but wasn't very good at it. I would swallow small amounts and ended up with fluorosis (stained teeth) when my permanent teeth came in. None of the kids around me got fluorosis, so I figured it couldn't be the water. Maybe I was swallowing too much toothpaste.
At any rate, the toothpaste tastes good. The children like it. It doesn't suds up like regular toothpaste, but it keeps their teeth pretty clean, as long as they brush properly. My daughter uses an electric toothbrush. She goes to the dentist regularly and they tell me she doesn't have plaque, which is pretty amazing for a 5 year old who brushes her teeth all by herself. She hasn't had any cavities, either.
