(More customer reviews)I bought this brush after my first Sonicare died (after 7 years of daily use) because it claimed 45,000 brush strokes per minute, faster than the newest Sonicare model offered then (which claimed 31,000 brush strokes per minute).
As soon as the brush touched my teeth--it just TICKLED. That's IT. It was like feather strokes on my teeth. If you put a little more pressure on it, the hand piece would vibrate, not the brush head. I basically had to brush my teeth manually with this thing.
It works FANTASTIC with the tongue cleaning attachment, though. My tongue has never been so clean before! That's the ONLY reason why this product is getting two stars.
If you buy directly from the website you can sign up for the "free" tooth brush head replacement. They send you two brush heads every 3 months for $4.95 (I think) shipping + handling unless you ask them to send you the brush heads less often. It isn't worth it. Buy the Philips Sonicare FlexCare Rechargeable Sonic Toothbrush. It's pricey, but it is WELL worth the money.
