(More customer reviews)I purchased this toothbrush more as an incentive for my 15 month-old to get interested in brushing rather than as a real serious toothbrush.
I was wrong; this is surprisingly the best brush we tried so far! (among maybe 1/2 a dozen of kids brushes).
I did not purchase this brush on Amazon but as a single pack from a local store, which had it on sale for below $2.
THE BEST:
* What makes this brush the best we tried so far is the brushing head: only 3 rows of soft bristles which keeps it narrow enough to be comfortable in the smallest mouths. Compared to the Earth Best baby brush with 4 rows of bristle, the Zooth is a lot easier to handle and direct, especially when going for the back teeth (or just gums!)
* The bristles are soft and gentle but not so soft that they don't scrub.
* The handle is colorful and attractive to a little girl; my daughter points and demands her brush at least twice a day: great! Again, this is better than the transparent Earth Best brush or solid color Target-brand that do not hold interest very long.
There are several colors and Hello Kitty designs available.
THE NOT SO GREAT:
* Not a lot of cons on this brush except maybe that the handle, given the Hello Kitty toy-like end, is not the most ergonomic. However, my daughter's hand sits close enough to the brush head that the "carving" is out of the way.
* I still question the durability but we have now had the brush for a couple of weeks and no sign of the bristles fraying or weakening so I may just be biased by the Hello Kitty thing!
Packaging states: Made in China, distributed by Procter & Gamble.
Overall, best shaped brushing head I have used so far. Fits perfectly in my 15-month old daughter's mouth who enjoys brushing very much.
I am recommending this product and I will most probably purchase it again.
