Also, even though the product description says that the plastic can be cut to tailor it to the size of your mouth, there are no instructions included on how to do this - being a first-time mouth guard user it was hard for me to determine what and where to trim the plastic! I did what I thought would work best for me and it worked better in the sense that I could at least insert it into my mouth but still was not comfortable. Plus, it kept falling out of my mouth often at night.
