You will not save the world by purchasing these toothbrushes, but you are supporting an ethic and idea that recycled products can work just as well as those processed plastic items we use to frequently. In this case, the plastic from the handles are made from recycled yogurt lids, among other items. The arc in the brush does influence like it claims - it helps you brush in the right arc that helps maximize coverage. The package it comes in even doubles as a travel case, holes included for ventilation. I like the different colors too. Overall a great toothbrush with a nice benefit of being earth friendly.
