I was able to bring it on the airplane and through security without including in my quart size liquid bag. Using both the toothpaste that directly fits as well as the adapter for other types, I was not able to fill the chamber completely. With it as full as I could get it, it lasted about 10 brushings using slightly less toothpaste than I typically use. The dial to get the paste to the brush was tough to turn with wet hands.
