(More customer reviews)First off, I want to be clear that I am gaining nothing from this review. In other words: "This is not a paid advertisement." I am simply a picky consumer who is won over by sensible products and their features.
With that being said, I have been a faithful Colgate Active Angle toothbrush user for the past 6 years now (give or take a year). It is a well-designed toothbrush that doesn't rely on frills. The bristle amount and placement are such that they clean more surface area of your teeth at once as well as the spaces in between. (Granted, there are few substitutes if any for flossing.) Contrary to the other review at the time of this post - and in the past 6 years I've used this type of toothbrush - I have not encounted any loose bristles that have fallen out.
Another plus with the head design is the upper tip of the bristles which reaches all the way in the back of the mouth for a thorough cleaning. I always happened to have cavity problems on my back-most teeth and my dentist recommended that I find a toothbrush that had a longer tip for such cleaning. Since then, I haven't had any problems.
The best part about this brush is the handle design! I've found that the bulge at the base of the handle keeps it from slipping out of my hand during brushing - when one's hands tend to be wet. The rubber grip also is a big plus in this area.
My only gripe with this wonderfully-designed toothbrush - and the factor that kept me from awarding it a full, 5 stars - is that the "neck" between the thumb grip and head could be a tad bit longer. (I wish there is a 4.5 rating available.) Perhaps my mouth is just big, but I've noticed the thumb grip part knocking against my teeth from time to time. It doesn't happen enough to be a nusiance or stop me from buying and using this product, but I feel this wouldn't be a thorough review without noting that.
The bottom line is that this is an extremely well designed toothbrush that provides a deep clean.

Intense Clean. For a noticeably intense feeling of clean. Multi-height multi-angle bristles get deep between teeth to remove plaque and residue. Rubber cushioned handle fits comfortably into your hand for more control. Made in Switzerland.
